Revised Private and Member Classifieds Requirements

You already show up and should see it. I would try posting in Evo General and see if the system recognizes you.

Posted in General and it worked. Accessing classifieds it shows "no posts found" when doing parts

I am having issues as well. 350+ posts and a member since 2004. Strange.

Lame!!!!! I'm a newbie still but i had been posting on this for a minute now and all of the sudden i cant after i finally decide to sell my extra drive train

this is great. I thought they took the for sale thing away all together

I followed all of the steps and still can't see the classified section of the forum... I have over 40 posts...

To all:

When you complete the requirements (over 25 posts), you don't automatically get to see the section. The system has to recognize that you meet the criteria. It then refreshes the information stored (usually every hour) automatically. So if you remain logged in during the entire time, the system cannot refresh you and you still wont see the section.

You have to give it time to refresh automatically. I have had a lot of people with the same questions and after giving it some time, they were able to see the For Sale Section with no action done on our part.

Side note - 05EVO8MR; I just checked and you should be able to see it now. Follow the procedure above to clear the cookies and you should be set.

just so you know - I had more than 25 posts previously and it reset my post count to zero. I am now trying to get back up to 25 again and see if it unlocks classifieds for me but you would think there would have to be a better way?

If you have been spamming old threads to bump up your post count, then your posts would be deleted.

A better way to unlock the classifieds would be to contribute, not spam old threads.

^^^+100 .. I been seeing Alot of necrobumbing, some threads r over a year old lol smh... And they say it's because SCE is dead, that's no excuse. No one wants to see abunch of old/dead threads being bumped.
