so just Got The Valentine 1 Radar Detector      and loving  it    if any of u who have used it or use it currently have any tips or tricks lmk    any modes that people like to Run it in  ?  im running Advanced logic right now

u kinda gottta get to know the radar detector then u can know when to filter out whats a legit detection or not im still getting use to it   reading the manual Deff helps

Haha I was going to go to irwindale this thursday just to check my time and stuff...

Hey bud, I have had a V1 in my evo for at least 6 months now and love it to death, two things...

Make sure you mount it as high up on the windshield as possible, mine is above my rear view mirror just to the right of the big dot matrix if that makes sense...love this spot if you need a pic LMK

Also, i reprogrammed mine to mute out the first 30 seconds of K and X band because 99 out of 100 times those are either call boxes on the freeway or automated opening doors and it will drive you up the fuckin wall.  i run little L
