Bevo
It isn't that I don't believe it, its just a chance I personally wouldn't take * why allow the opportunity, specially if u know damn well u plan on running high amount of boost and the solution is something not as complicated as expected.

I was really bored and had a full tank of E85 in my car. So, i decided to see how many miles i can go if i baby the car.  I drove from West LA to Willow Springs and drove back home and then some trying to maintain 70MPH and staying off boost (my gps says i did 67MPH avg) .  The drive to Willow Springs, once you get on the 14N, is a LOT of long uphill highways. So, i was probably boosting anywhere fromn 0-5psi on the long uphill stretches.  However, on the way home it was a lot of downhill driving.

I drove until my fuel light came on and drove for 10 about more minutes (245 miles on trip)  and i filled up my tank with gas again (12.1 gallons).

According to my fuzzy math
245 miles / 12.1 gallons gas added to tank = 20.24MPG

I probably could've squeezed more MPG if i picked some flatter roads to drive on...and yes i really do need a life  2funny

i just "de-blinged" my RC 1000cc injectors by removing the pretty red colored sticker that comes on the injectors.  I read on the forum somewhere they got busted for aftermarket injectors. Something to keep in mind before you install new injectors....

black marker or paint will do the trick possibly for the lettering ??

Simon
don't you just love the denso injectors ??

since they also happen to make OEM injectors for a lot of companies XD
the only thing it shows vs stock is the color, which isnt a big deal compare your big ass red RC stickers hehehehe

I heard from EvoM that my car was mentioned in Turbo Magazine in some feature they did on MOD when my car was on the dyno.  Anyone know what issue it was and can someone post it up if they got a scan or link to an article?

Popping and a little fary with a bah-bump is normal running catless. But to me a "back fire" is a KA-POW with flames to light up traffic behind you with the hood rats pulling out they 38s... that is a bit much and not quite normal.

Hey Skiracer,
its been a little over a yr since your E85 tune. How are you liking it? Have you encountered any problems boosting 30psi? still on the stock head studs?

No problems at all and my engine internals are 100% stock . Only problem is lack of E85 stations around LA.

Awesome. E-85 is great, and 09 should be seeing a handful of new stations as well. Other than that I kind of like the drive to LA for gas, I just spend the day at Venice when I fill lol
