Topic: Nissan GTR At Road Race Today (Read 6132 times)

Was pretty sweet for those of us that were somehow at RRE. Was chillin in the lobby waiting for my rally cat when at the corner of my eye I see this shine come from a super clean black car. I looked at it just thinking, wonder whats pulling in. I stood up as I couldn't make out the exact body style at the time until I saw the smooth body lines and 20" wheels. I walked outside still kinda in disbelieve until I saw the GTR emblem on the front of it. All I can say is badass car. They hooked it up to the Dynopacks that they have at RRE. I got some pictures and a video of one of the dyno pulls, well some of it. I will upload them from my phone, yeah I know, sorry but didn't have camera, in a few when it hurries up and sends to my email. I know they were having some problems on the dynos as the tire pressure sensor was screwing up since the dynopacks at RRE you gotta remove the wheels and bolt it in like that. As far as I know when they did the one run that actually worked, it pulled about 460 to the wheels. Edmunds.com was there filming and ish, it was pretty sweet.

There coming there coming. I kenw it was only time before that shit was posted up. LoL. One thing I noticed about the car though was that the indash screen wasn't in english. If I owned it, I would fail at reading any diagnostic things that the screen presented.

I was there before the car got there and left before it left. But the only run that I know that was successful, as like I mentioned before they were having problems with the VOC, it threw an check engine light,and some other crap from the sensors and the wheels being off. It put down ~460awhp. I didn't see the actual numbers from the screen but that is what they were saying.

This is all what the guy that works for the Edmunds.com or whatever said. "Earlier we went to another place for the mustang dyno and we got about 426 on it to the wheels." You gotta remember too, RREs reads higher than other dynos as some extra weight is removed as those big ass 285/35/20 wheels come off, drag tires right from the factory, lol.
