$2.76 last night on Convoy St. It's my go-to place now instead of El Cajon or MCRD.
My real detemining factor is $/mi. For 91 at $3.89, I'd get $0.19/mi. On E85 at $2.76, it's $0.17. More power and cheaper per mile. Just means I need to stop more often.

I don't feel safe getting e85 because cops stake up these stations and pull over mod cars and pop hood and give out ref tickets. Has this happen to anyone else besides me? It's really bad at the Arcadia e85 station. That dam city is so Ritchie and with no crime, the cops have nothing else better to do.

i go there often to fill up and there's a cop there about half of the time. they have never bugged me
I have seen other people get hassled but I have yet to be hassled at the Arcadia station. I go there and my dr. across the street x2 a week at least.
The constant cop presence does stress me but they must be profiling in some way (biggie exhaust, stickers, other clear aftermarket stuff) because my car looks pure OEM and I am old + I drive through arcadia like a grandma, so they don't really trip on me... but for over a year, I have been going there over 2 times a week, sometimes up to 3 times a week because of my chiropractor being right there too.
I would be interested in hearing an actual story of someone being pulled over at or by this station.
i've pumped at Arcadia twice and both times there was a police officer in the lot but i've never been bothered....
My go to station is Sylmar and also San Pedro/Torrance when im on assignment there and there is no police presence at either of those lots.

I personally have been pulled over right after getting e85 at the Arcadia station literally less than a block after pulling out if the station. My hood got popped and I got a ref ticket. I had to either pay a $500 fine and not see the ref or take my full race twin scroll hta gt3582r turbo kit off as well as my full exhaust/ test pipe and put the stock stuff back on see the ref get everything signed off. Then put all my mods back on. I decided to do the ladder. But it was a super pain in the ass. If it happen again I would rather just pay the $500.
The cop said he pulled me over for a modified exhaust. He asked if I has any under the hood illegal mods. I said no. He ask me to pop my hood and I said no. They he asked me to steep out of the car and he sat me on the curb and he called for back up. When 4 more cop cars came they popped my hood event though I said no. Gave me a ref ticket. Also keep in mind I was at a lunch break from work and I'm a 30 year old Chinese professional man dressed in a suit with no criminal record.
I then went to the Arcadia police station to fill a complaint right after this happen. They told me that because of my modded exhaust that was enough probable cause to such my car for other illegal modifications. In other words they told me to fuck off.
I really believe this is only an issue with the Arcadia e85 station. This happened about a year ago.
If/ when this happens again the things I would do differently is still say no when they ask to pop my hood. When they ask me to come out of the car lock the car and roll up the windows put the keys in my pocket and steep out of the car. If they ask for the keys say no but do not resist if they takes the keys from inside my pocket. Then do not talk and say as little as possible and stay quiet. They will try to get you to talk and they are always recording everything and they will use anything you say agenst you.
Any other tips? Maybe from someone that is an expert with the law that can help us car enthusiast out.

Thank you. I am also a 30 year old Chinese/Filipino and would be a prime target. The two times i pumped there i also noticed the police and it made me real nervous because he was eye balling me hard but luckily for me he never pulled me over.
