One of them is real. The stunt cars were just suped up lancers, but I think this is the real one. They had an actual evo 7 registered in Arizona for the movie, and it is legal in the states. Last time I saw this car for sale they wanted something crazy like 35k or something.

if this is the one that's registered, it is a real Evo 7. i think what throws people off the most is the taillights, they dont look like something that would fit on an Evo 7/8.

if you say so. I've seen that car in person when Neil had it. the front end is the DAMD front kit iirc. you can tell the rear fenders are wider , plus you see the ACD switch next to the mirror controls and it has the I/C spray switch in front of the cupholders.

thats an awful lot of attention to detail to convert a lancer into an Evo 7.

Go do your research, The car is legit. Unfortunately they changed the tail lights to the "euro style" which were just stock lancer tails... If that car is fake, then are you telling me the Skylines they used were all chevy impalas? because I mean, the tail lights on impalas or malibus whatever look the same, so nothing some bondo can fix. But I forgot, they crushed those cars because they were imported from Japan. Why would they go out of their way to try and copy an evo 7. Mitsubishi gave this car to the directors in order to promote their US release of the evolution.

Looks like all it needs in my opinon is a new paint job or vinyl wrap, different front bumper, get rid of the wing, and evo 7 taillights. Then you got yourself a genuine evo 7. It could obviously do a bit more (unless you're into it) as far as the wheels and interior go, but.. hmmm. I wonder who bought it?

This is a legit Evo 7. The tail lights on the car were for a basic lancer, but they customized them to fit the evo. Since the quarter panel on the evo is wider, these tails fell a bit short. Other than that, it's a legit evo 7. Funny how people are to think of this car as a lancer just cause of the tails.

So if i add lancer interior to my evo, does it make it a prancer converted to an evo?

i only refuse to ACCEPT it as an evo, because of them STUPID FUCKING TAIL LIGHTS. so to me it will be a lancer OZ.

There were a few of these examples created. I have seen EvoNeil's car and I wasn't in a good of shape as the one listed on ebay. I could be wrong though.
