the bulb type is 921 for the license plate lights. you can buy Sylvania LED ones for about 9 bucks a pop at pep boys and walmart, or go online.

i just swapped mine they were "168" series from sylvania at O'reilys
superbrightleds sells them for about 4 bucks each plus about 3 bucks shipping. I bought a bunch of lights for interior and such also so not bad.

Is this size for the x?
yes. the 168/194 type bulb will fit the license plate as well as the front and rear corner lights.

Macky since you are a Sportback owner I had to ask would you happend to know any input if the K&N Typhoon kit if it's compatible with the Ralliart Sportback engine some people are saying it will fit some other people are saying it might not . No one seems to have an answer for me . Your feed back would help! Thanks !
not sure about that. I dont have a Ralliart Sportback, just the regular Sportback. so I can't verify if that will have fitment issues.
