Hi guys,
Well I got a set of 18 X 9.5 e38 rota grids and I wanted to use them before selling them.
The rear seem to fit but the front does not clear the brembo.
What spacers are needed?
any input is appreciated.

Does anyone know if running 25mm spacers with 18 X 9.5 e38 be an issue?
You need at least 20mm spacer for the front, and the rear should fit without spacers, but depending on your tire size, I suggest a roll. (hopefully your on coilovers)

I was always under the impression that spacers in general were bad and to be avoided. Am I wrong on this? If this is a dumb question, just smack me.

^ Theres always a debate when it comes to that. Some argue that having anything between the wheel and hub leaves more room for catastrophe others argue that its fine as long as you buy quality ones. Ive been running 20mm project kicks for almost a year now and haven't had any issues, theres even people that heavily track on spacers. Personally, ill run the spacers until i get wheels with specs to my liking.
20mm spacers should do the job imo
I believe you're probably going to need at leasdt a 20mm spacer to clear the front brakes.
I have FQ400's...Im sick of the tuck in the wheel well. I think they are 17x8 +33 or +38. What would flush it up a bit? A 20mm spacer?

Spacers are perfectly safe just as long as you're using extended studs or using a hubcentric spacer with built in studs and you've properly torqued them down in the correct pattern.

Just have to make sure that your studs are long enough to get enough turns on, and if they are not go get the ARP extended Studs and do it right dont risk possible injury or anything like that.
Yeah, I had to roll the rear and added 3mm spacers in the rear. Tracking on 20 or 25mm spacers in the front was fine, though I did add ARP studs.
