    Tire rub!

Didn't want to hijack the other thread about tire rub. After changing and rebalancing my tires, my front left one seems to rub a lot when i make right turns. Anyone know what to do to fix it?

Heres a picture, it rubs on the front part where the ridges are and the tire seems to push into it when i turn.

(don't mind the rims, have to get them re-powdercoated haha)

    Some tire specs would help.

Use a heat gun and a hard object to heat up the fender lining, and push it backwards for some more clearance.

+1 on the rim and tire sizes. i think you probably have to switch to lower profile tires compared to the ones you have now if you plan on keeping your rims.

these are just oem X rims, and I'm running hangook v12's 245.

My car was hit on the front left part of my bumper back in December so it seems as if my liner and under tray are pushed closer on this side. My under tray actually popped off pulling into a driveway about an hour ago and now the rub is all gone..lol guess I'll just leave it like this for a while

245/45s? could be just the liner being pushed.

245/40 18, yeah it just seems like my left side liner is pushed in more than my right. When they repaired my car they probably just painted the bumper and didn't think to check my liner.

The fender liner pop rivets were probably not put back. Check if they are all intact.
