Moving on after the evo wahhhhh? I would never! I think the plan for me is pay off the evo then save up and go back to my roots and buy another sc300 (2jz-ge na-t) or maybe sc400(1uzfe). I always had a soft spot for sc's especially the diamond white pearl ones with auto couture kits pure sex <3

Ya that's a smart move if you don't have great vision lol.
I have had a '12 zx6r for 3 years now. Whisky throttle is no joke on a bike. But you'll never have that problem if you get used to the handlebar throttle. I rode dirt bikes so the transition was easy for me. If it your first time than i suggest 600cc like me or less. I get what your saying about eyesight though. I look farther ahead on my bike and I have to make sure my focus is up. It is like racing a car on a track needs about as much focus as riding a street bike on the streets. I have tracked my street bike and I am honestly more stressed on the streets than the track. It the stupid drivers out there. I really have to put a lot of trust into others on the road and do my best to anticipate their moves. BTW this is josh. We met we you drove behind me at the big bear oktoberfest run. I had my dogs and girlfriend with me. I have found that how you drive a car is kinda how your gunna ride a motorbike once your comfortable with both. But honestly where you live with the road conditions and weather you really have to be extra careful with a bike. If you were down in the OC like me I would say you have no problem with a bike.

I had an 08 600RR for a few years. Sold it about a year ago. I miss it all the time, but don't want another bike until i live in a less densely populated area. Truth. I was only riding about once per month because it would be an all day event- Riding out to Palomar, Julian, Borrego - you have to ride just to get to the ride. Riding around where i live was lame as fuck. No thanks.
FWIW, i learned on a 600. My buddy had an '08 600RR and an '08 1000RR. I learned on the 6. Within a month, he was modding the 6 more and i was spending more time on the 1000. It all comes down to you. Study riding technique, safety, keep your head, and take it slow. You'll be fine. It all comes down to you. (read: You will be fine, it's all the tards on the road you need to worry about) Is the vision thing really an issue? Not to be an ass, but can't we fix that with modern optometry?
life after evo??? oh you mean life after evo is paid off!
yea.... i would love/plan to get in a ZL1 or c6 :)
Not planning on ever getting rid of the evo's. But I do want a s2k or a ke70 or 510
Pictures on all for sale/for trade threads is being enforced!
Been thinking about selling my Evo just because I want something more comfortable. I have a daily but i reallllly want an AMG. Maybe a used c63 or a clk63 black series if I can find one. Comfortable and luxurious enough to commute yes still great to take to the canyons or track. BUT everytime I drive my Evo espeically on e85 I change my mind on selling it :)
