welcome. I heard it's possible. However sometimes the DSM approach is install 6 bolts short block and ECU with DSMlink.. Then boom a tune and start enjoy DSM powa :)

By the way if anybody has an evo 8 harness and ecu. Im ready to buy!! I just finished up getting the timing components done and and will set timing on the engine. Probably buy the motor mounts next and drop in the engine and then next would be the transmission which i will be sadly using a 3g trans from the eclipse. Maybe later on awd :D. Im looking to make at least 400hp when i get tuned on e85. I'll be using a freshly rebuilt evo 9 turbo.

Completely forgot i started this thread lol. Yes the engine is basically done. All i need is a 3g trans from a 2.4l. Im waiting for my valve cover to come in as well.
