I will make this quick.

EVO steering wheels wear fast.
Our cars are out of warranty.
My wife would never let me drive without an airbag.
So, I picked up a damaged steering wheel from flyingscot but no one wanted to touch it. I went to a bunch of places and people either wanted to do a crappy looking rewrap, or they told me to just get a new steering wheel. If I was sticking with the OEM wheel, I want an OEM look. To me it looks kooky to get a fancy wrap on a stock wheel. It is just my opinion but if you want some suede alcantra fancy pants wheel, get a fancy pants wheel...don't try to make your OEM Momo shit look aftermarket.
In any case, I finally came across Fibrenew in Pasadena and they made my damaged wheel look PERFECT. He also refinished it in a way that makes the crappy Mitsubishi on Momo leather feel like soft supple leather instead of the pleathery feel of the stock wheel.
I recommend this for all you dudes who know your wheel looks like someone shitted on it.
This guy does mobile service and if your wheel is no drama, it will be right around $100. If it is more drama, it could be as much as $150 or so.
This seemed reasonable to me. My wheel with a tear, some scuffs and a bit of fading was $110.
I posted pics. on that yelp review.
Get hyped!!
