(Back story)
I bought some megan track coils in April of this year and I had some shop that was close by my house (highland ca) align them for me the guy set them up to be more on the dumped/ aggressive look which was cool but it handled like shit. At first i didnt notice it until i started driving home (lake arrowhead mountains) and i noticed that my cars handling was just terrible. I couldn't even keep up with wrx's evo x's without my tires squealing and my car bouncing like a lowrider after every dip!
Then I recently took it to the track at adams and well that's when i noticed the car needed a lot of love. Every time i would take a corner i would feel like the car would understeer a lot! I had some body roll and it felt like my car would drift as i was in the middle of the corner with my tires squealing. It was terrible.
(today)
so i decided i need to do something about this. I was planning on doing this for a while but money has been tight but luckly They have a special going on for October on suspension set ups so i said why not lets do it. I showed up at 4pm and Gil came out pretty much asked me what was going on i told him the issues and he explained as best as he could to me why things like that were happening. We took the car for a test drive and then pulled it in to the shop. He then probably spent about 3-4 hours dialing everything in as i watched. He answered all my question which some answers seemed like Chinese to me but he still tried to explain them in the best way that he could. Once all of that was done we went again for another test drive and he did some minor tweaks. He even let me go around the block before a i paid (wtf lol)
(Conclusion)
So the first test was getting on the freeway and i noticed that my car wasn't oscillating like before i didnt feel like i was in a lowrider hoping down the free way. The suspension felt solid i wouldnt bounce everywhere the shock would recover faster and not only that i could finally drive a little bit faster without having to worry about ripping my bumper off. Now the real test was the drive home. Before I could barely go 65 around corners but i was hitting 80mph on these mountain roads the car felt super tight and responsive. I didnt feel like i was drifting anymore. I felt more confident with the car now that my tires were not squealing. I felt like the car could keep turning even at higher speeds. Overall i can honestly say its the best money i have spent so far on my car.
Massimo Power is about 1 hour and 30 min drive for me but its worth it they have alway treated me right Mauricio, Gilbert, and Victor have always been super cool with me I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. You guy should schedule an appointment ASAP before this special runs out and let Gil look at your suspension set up trust me guys you wont be disappointed.
