Question Where would you guys get your lowering spring installed?

    Hey, guys,
I just ordered a set of gtworx spring and I am debating if I should just go ahead to do it myself or let a shop do it.

I had some bad experience with spring install and coilovers install on my previous 350z before.
I either don't have powerful tools to remove the bolts on the shock, or I don't have a good set of tools to work in some awkward narrow places.
And I ended up bringing my Z to a shop afterwards.

So that is why I prefer letting a shop handle the installation this time.
I am just wondering if you guys have any recommendation on which trust worthy shop to go for this kind of part installation.
I am thinking about RRE, but if there is any shop close to me( Rowland heights area ), then I would go to them.
BTW, do you guys know if Cypress at JC Autohouse install suspension parts? He is the only guy I trust with my alignment. If he does this, then I can just get alignment right after he finishes spring install.
    Thanks in advance.

Dude it's a super easy job. Long as you have spring compressors then there's nothing to be scared about and just torque everything to proper specs. But if you don't want to ya RRE is the best local shop for you.

^^^ what Rawger said. Super easy job, just rent some spring compressors from autozone etc.

West End is the only shop that touches my suspension.

RRE can definitely install springs just fine but they do not have the equipment to do a set up around those springs (i.e. what level of alignment, corner balance and etc. you want to go to).

I have gone to West End, which is in your area, for suspension needs on my cars for over a decade, and after having gone to other shops as well, I can say West End is one of only 2 shops I will ever go back to.

I would recommend letting West End take care of this job, so everything is set up properly when you drive away.

Thanks for the recommendations. It looks like West End got some awesome reviews!
I will keep them in mind.

I may consider doing it myself, but I will check the diy again.
Last time I was doing similar work on 350z, I was only able to change the springs for front driver side. I couldn't for the life of me remove the top bolt on the top of passenger side shock..
Guess what, I had to drive the car with mixed springs to shop and let them handle it. I really hate it when something like that happens.

You can actually install themyour self its fairly simple, if you have some sort of mechanical saavyness
And one settled you can get you alignment done with Darren at West End

    ,
    Decided to diy this, guys.
I invested a set of Ingersoll Rand, advertised to be around 780ft-lbs, maybe a lil overkill for this job but this should make my future diys nice and easy.
Springs will be installed this week!

    hey, guys,
I looked around but couldn't find the information I needed.
    I found this http://www.evoxservicemanual.co.uk/
, but couldn't find anything related to the torque specs for all the related bolts for lowering spring install.

Could you guys tell me how much I need to torque for structs?
