    I hate Massimo Power...

...because they are 107 miles from my house.

    Sorry haters, no drama here.

Anyway, my coilover broke and I contacted Gilbert on his facebook account, he got back to me in just a couple minutes and offered up whatever I wanted to do. Weld it, replace, etc.

I decided on a new budget Megan set up and he got the coilovers right away and made an appointment for install. Gilbert set it all up and aligned the car, even was meticulous to make sure the steering wheel etc was straight and mentioned multiple times to come back for any problems and that they guarantee their work. Even let me watch over the install and everything he was doing which a lot of shops are reluctant about. Very knowledgeable guy and will set your car up appropriately and align it however you want.

It was like working on your car with a buddy but your hands aren't dirty and they really know what they are doing haha.

Hard to describe and people always say the car handles amazing after Gilbert sets it up and they're right. Best way I can put it is that it handles with tremendously less effort than before and making corners that would tax the vehicle previously are like nothing, even on much softer coilovers and a budget brand. Can't wait to test it out some more in the future.

    Thanks Massimo!

Edit: Forgot to mention they price themselves very reasonably for the work and after he quoted me they didn't move ANY off of that quote.

They usually do it for about 460 but guess it can depend on how much time your setup takes. These were Megans and they've done dozens of them so have the measurement they typically require to adjust. The coilovers also don't have the problems some used coilovers have like the threads being seized.

He took my Megans from the factory, disassembled them, measured them all out, installed them, and then fine tuned it to my car with corner balance and alignment.

Driving more the handling of the car is pretty dramatically changed, feels like it just rotates and that the wheel base is shortened.

What's the best way to get a hold of these guys. I've tried email and phone. No response. Would like to give them a try, but they seem as elusive as the big foot.

Yeah changed number and phone services due to issues. Need to update the website still and have been lagging on it.

We apologize for the lack of response to our customers but we are here to help. Our official phone number is 9515490376. Give us a call, leave a message if we dont answer, we always respond to our messages or try to email me at [email protected] I usually always have my email up and its linked directly to my personal phone.

To the op, Im glad I was able to help you out and get the car back on the road safely. Just because it doesnt cost a lot doesnt mean its crap. Megans can work very well in the proper hands.

Yeah mine are brand new and Megan's as well so I believe it would be about the same, thank you for your response

Gilbert and all the guys at Massimo did right by me in *setting up* (not just installing) Fortune Auto 500 coilovers (carry-in) on my Evo X MR. Some adjectives come to mind: Professional, knowledgeable, experienced, transparent, friendly, punctual. Thanks, guys. I'll be back.
