    Just bought my first EVO

Well Thank you for accepting me on to your forum.

    Live in Bakersield

Bought my EVO from my friend who I help locate the car when he bought it. Told him if you decide to sell EVA ( car name) Ill buy her. So here we are 2003 VIII. Bought the car with a blown head gasket pulled the motor and decided to rebuild the 2.0 into a 2.3, motor is in the shop getting machine work done. Hone, bore etc......

Eva will be replacing my current daily driver. Daily driver is behind EVA

bought the car with turbo back exhaust
    02 housing
    injen intake
    acd clutch

    my current list is
    borla exhaust manifold
    bbk full turbo
    2.3 build engine
    70mm throttle body
    AMS intercooler
    koyo aluminum radiator
    competition clutch stage 2
    GSC S2 cams
    GSC beehive springs
    WAlbro fuel pump
    rc 1200cc injectors
    tranny rebuild
I might be missing something but dont know yet.

feel free to input any suggestions

this is my first turbo car

nice, and your are geographically blessed. your just a short hop to just about most of the best tuners in SoCal. you have good detailers up there too, they can fix your headlights and restore your enkei's

I guess the hardest choice you have to make now is who is going to tune it. id suggest someone with a dyno, no street tunes.

...and oh it looks like your all set to go E85 as well pick up some VP fuel jugs too, like 4 of them =)....good time...good times..

Congrats on the purchase and soon to be mid-range torque monster. 2.3/BBK full should be really fun.

So, ditching the 993 for the Evo? How come if you don't mind me asking?

Whoa i am not ditching the 993 just preserving the mileage.

Love driving the 993, i drive up to 1k miles a week sometimes for work so need a different commuter. So why not a evo with a new engine and drivetrain.

Welcome to SCE! I wish I lived that close buttonwillow too, I'd have a lot more track time by now. Good luck on the build.

Heard alot of good things about Road Race. They have been helpful with the build. I tried talking to 1 person at KT motoring which prompted me to fine another shop.
