Anyone know what boost gauge I need?

What's up guys, so yesterday I was insatlling a bov and noticed the vacuum line was cut and leading some where else, I found this little black box and followed it the the front, I am thinking it is a senor for a boost gauge? Does this mean I can buy a boost gauge and just plug it right In?

Am I able to buy any gauge? Or do I have to use the same gauge the previous owner had? Can anyone tell from the pictures what gauge it might be?

Wish i could tell ya bud. I'm fairly certain that it is not GReddy, as their boost sensor's have their logo on them.

Yeah it's hard to tell but I been narrowing them down, its not AEM, Defi or greedy. It might be prosport but not positive yet

What's up with the vacuum line looped on the bov? Shouldn't it go to a vacuum source...

That GReddy Type-S, all of its knockoffs and maybe a few others have two ports. You'll notice on the top of the diaphragm there is another port...that one sees manifold pressure, so both + and - . The lower port there just sees positive pressure. Helps the valve give better response and hold more boost. You only really need to use the top port, as the valve will still function normally, but for best results use both.

Same concept as the Dodge Garage Mod.
