    OEM is light too. So if you don't want attention from the wrong people.. Stay oem. CF, make sure to install hood pins or latch to secure the hood properly.

    Unless you are building an all out track monster or show car, the stock hood is light enough. if you want the look of CF, just get it wrapped. Like what has already been mentioned, the stock hood is pretty light as they come.

    I haven't looked in a long time but fitment can be iffy with cf hoods. Also, what they said. It's like a 5lb difference depending on manufacturer. Only autoclave carbon fiber shows a real weight benefit. If it's only for looks, wrap it up. Side benefit: prevents paint chips esp if you're lowered.

    yes...get the CF painted if you don't want the attention. MR hoods are aluminum right? so lighter than GSR hoods but that's why they're almost double price from the dealer

    All evo hoods are aluminum. So are the front fenders.
