Here is a corner weight image shot of a stock EVO 8 with sunroof and 1/2 tank of gas:

Them HID headlights are a little heavy though... 16 lbs hanging right out on the very front of an already front heavy car. Ouch.

It's more like 60 something in front and the rest in the back.

Edit: According to Mitsu it's 60% in front and 40% in the back.

Yeah, but isn't it like twice that amount? I keep hearing closer to 80 pounds for the roof. Blurr have you heard anything about this?

I heard 80 lbs as well... That's one of the reasons I passed on it...

If it is that should put me under 3200 lbs :D

I havn't heard anything about it. The only real way to see if Mitsubishi is wrong is to have to get stock cars (newish tires) full fluids and weigh them.

Or wait till someone want to switch to the MR roof panel and we weigh what comes out of the roof of the Sunroof car.

Either way, not an easy thing to test.

Here are the weight differences on stuff installed on my car (all unsprung weight):

MR Bilsteins + Swift springs replaced by Zeal Function Xs = 11 pound savings
OEM Brembo 4-piston calipers + stock rotors replaced by Endless 6-piston calipers + inch up 2-piece rotors = 5.6 pound savings
OEM Brembo 2-piston calipers + stock rotors replaced by Endless Racing 4-piston calipers + inch up 2-piece rotors = 14.4 pound gain
Front dust shields removed = 1.2 savings

Net 3.4 pound savings
