1. Take the harness out the packet and lay it out of the floor. Make sure that all of the fittings are there.
http://socalevo.net/docs/tech/install_guides/sparco_harness/hns003_thumb.jpg (http://socalevo.net/docs/tech/install_guides/sparco_harness/hns003.jpg)
2. Underneath the back seat there are two plastic pull tabs. Pull these to release the seat and the bottom cushion.

3. Having removed the rear seat bottom you should now be able to see the seatbel bolts, as marked on the picture.

4. Undo the 17mm bolt for the seatbelt mount and replace it with the bolt for the back of the harness (see below for bolts). Be careful to ensure that the seatbelt does not get twisted and that the harness is the right way around. Make sure that the bolt is done up nice and tight again.

5. Feed the straps of the harness through the back of the seat. Make sure that they are the correct way round and not twisted.
http://socalevo.net/docs/tech/install_guides/sparco_harness/hns011_thumb.jpg (http://socalevo.net/docs/tech/install_guides/sparco_harness/hns011.jpg)
6. Push the seat forward for easy access to the stock seatbelt mount. Carefully lift the plastic cover to reveal the bolt (as pictured) and remove the bolt with a 17mm socket.

7. Remove the stock bolt and put the eye bolt in its place - remembering to replace the washers in the correct order. Tighten it with a strong bar (the handle of your socket wrench may work) and try to line it up at 90 degrees to the floor. You can now attach the harness clip to the eye bolt.

8. The next bolts that you need to get to are for the inside seat mounts. To make this process easier pop out the cetner console.
Open the center console to reveal the two fixing screws. Undo these screws and then gently lift the center console from the rear. It should hinge up out of the way.

9. Once the center console has been removed push the seat fully back. You can now see the seabelt stem bolt on the inside of the seat.
Remove this bolt with a 17mm socket and take note of the order of the washers.

10. Put the washers and seatbelt stem onto the eye bolt and then screw it back into the side of the seat. Tighten it with a strong bar (the handle of your socket wrench may work) and try to line it up at 90 degrees to the floor. You can now attach the harness clip to the eye bolt.
11. Repeat steps 4 thru 10 for the other harness if you have one.
Â*
12. Replace the center console by gently pushing it back down into place and then fixing it with the two screws as shown in step 8. Â*
13. Replace the back seat cushion, remembering to pull the seatbelt fasteners through the holes at the back. Â*

14. Unless you plug something into the driver's seatbelt fastener then you will see the red seatbelt warning light all the time. The easiest fix for this is to put a buckle into the fastner. You can either go to the Mitsubishi dealer and order one, or go to the scrap yard and find one. Most of the older Mistubishi buckles won't work because they are too big. This one is from a 1997 VW Jetta.

Congratulations, you've finished. You should now have something that looks like this! Hop in, andjust the harnesses and go drive!
