You can hear the Ferrari let off at the end there, but kudos for keeping up with it! That's cool.

I think the Ferrari's driver was shifting too late (bump rev limiter). But good job for the EVO keeping up. The EVO owner said he put $500 into mods, and was with a friend. The 360 driver was by himself.

Well, he obviously bumped the limiter, but it almost sounds like he short shifted the next gear, then he let off. The EVO "sorta" kept up with him. Wouldn't have been a contest for much longer had the 360 not shorted and lifted hehehe. I love the EVO, but it's about 10k in mods away from hanging with a 360.

And how far away in mods from a twin turbo porche?
It can hang with the Cayenne, right?
Just not unfettered hp of diablo, 360, etc. R2

I'm actually quite surprised that the EVO hung that long . Either there are a lot more that $500 in mods (I can hear at least $200 in an aftermarket BOV there), or there was a combination of good driver vs. bad driver there. Puzzling!

In straightline drag (not above 120mph), I think $5K-$6K in mods is enough for an EVO to take a 996TT. A Greddy turbo kit, cams, TB exhaust, and fine tuning should do it. (assume the stock clutch can hold up)
Also, well driven EVO should be able to hang with a Cayenne TT.
