WORKS Holiday Sale! To thank everyone for their support in 2003 and help ring in the New Year, WORKS is offering discounts through 12:00 a.m. December 20, 2003 including the much-anticipated WORKS products below.

WORKS 269 Performance Cams: Add over 25+ whp with the WORKS cams (both intake and exhaust available). Specially designed for maintaining nearly stock idle characteristics while providing gains at every point in the power band, the WORKS cams help get the most out of your Evo’s engine. Far more than a regrind, the WORKS cams are made from fresh blanks to WORKS’ exacting specifications and provide unparalleled drivability, tractability, and durability. May be used with stock cam gears, valve springs, and retainers. $699.00 set. Available Now.

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $679.00

WORKS V-Springs and Ti Retainers: For those Evo enthusiasts looking for a redline exceeding 8k rpm, these are a must. Weighing in at less than half the weight of the stock pieces, the WORKS Ti Retainers allow for higher revs than the stock valvetrain can safely handle while the V-Springs deliver more pressure. The perfect compliment to WORKS cams. $329/set. Available Now.

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $309.00

WORKS Water Injection: WRC technology for street-level enthusiasts. An industry first, WORKS offers a pre-assembled water injection kit custom designed specifically for the Evo. Completely mapped through the WORKS Brain Flash, the WORKS Water Injection system continuously monitors fuel injector duty cycle and matches the delivery of water vapor accordingly. Fuel, ignition and boost mapping is achieved through the WORKS Brain Flash in the stock ECU. Bar none, the most effective way to dramatically drop intake charge and in-cylinder temperatures, the WORKS Water Injection ensures that your engine is burning the coolest, most dense mixture even under extreme ambient conditions. Whether you have been sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on a 105 degree day with little to no airflow going to the intercooler, or whether you have been lapping a race track at high speeds for four or five hours on end without cool down, the WORKS water injection system will maintain extremely tight temperature tolerances. No more reliance on massive amounts of fuel dumping and no more reduced spool times from the pressure-drop associated with over sized intercooler kits. If consistent performance is what you are after, WORKS Water Injection is the answer. $975.00. Pre-order now (Shipping ETA 4 weeks).

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $899.00

WORKS Exhale Series – New Additions: The WORKS modular 3-piece Exhale series exhaust components allow Evo enthusiast to quickly and easily mix and match the Exhale AB (Axle Back), IP (Intermediate Pipe) and DP (Down Pipe) with the factory Evo VIII components. The Exhale series exhausts components are covered by WORKS’ 3-year, unlimited miles warranty to the original purchaser.

WORKS IP: Minimal bends and maximum flow are the secret to the Exhale IP’s ability to outflow the factory intermediate pipe. Featuring 70mm T-304 Stainless Steel tubing and flanges, the Exhale IP does away with the in-line resonators found on the stock exhaust for unmatched flow. For the Evo Enthusiast with an upgraded turbocharger the Exhale IP is also available in a 76mm version (both high-flow resonated and non-resonated versions available). For Evos that use the factory turbo, the 70mm version of the IP has proven itself on the dyno to be the perfect size. Mounting hardware, gasket, and simple installation instructions included. Adds approx. 5whp on stock Evo. CARB exempt. $449.00 Pre-order now (Shipping ETA 2 weeks).

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $429.00

WORKS DP: Using 70mm T-304 Stainless Steel with a unique thermal ceramic coating both inside and out, the Exhale DP keeps the heat in rather than radiating it outwards. By keeping the heat in the piping, the Exhale DPs thermal coatings prevents the intense heat reaching the factory oil pan, as well as maximizes the velocity of exhaust gases (exhaust gases slow down as they cool). Just as importantly, by keeping the heat where it belongs, the WORKS Exhale DP ensures that the factory catalytic converter is promptly lit off for trouble-free emissions testing. As would be expected from WORKS parts, the Exhale DP has no clearance issues with the factory cross braces and maintains appropriate clearances from the factory oil pan. The Exhale DP is also compatible with the WORKS Croxx Plate undercarriage brace. Mounting hardware, gasket, and simple installation instructions included. Adds Approx 10 whp on stock Evo. CARB exemption is pending. $449.00 Pre-order now (Shipping ETA 3 weeks). Available Now.

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $429.00

WORKS Adjustable Swaybars: There is no better way to get your car to corner flatter, deeper, and with more conviction than the WORKS swaybars. Fully adjustable both front and rear, and exclusive to WORKS, this unique swaybar package allows the end-user to dial in how much oversteer or understeer the car has according to track and driving conditions. Featuring 25mm front bar and 24mm solid rear, the WORKS swaybars come complete with polyurethane bushings. $549/pair. Pre-order now (Shipping ETA 4 weeks)

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $519.00

WORKS/GFB Dual Vent Valve: WORKS has teamed up with Go Fast Bits to offer Evo enthusiasts this unique recirculating compressor bypass valve which allows the user to adjust how much air gets vented to atmosphere for that oh-so-cool “Pssssssh!” sound that some turbo owners must have. Previously, Evo owners experimenting with venting a blow off valve to atmosphere ran into idle and drivability issues when the MAF equipped Evo evacuated all of its boost pressure to atmosphere. Now, because the WORKS/GFB DVV valve allows the user to vent some of the boost to atmosphere, and recirculate the remainder, these drivability issues can be dramatically minimized or avoided altogether. We have found that venting only part of the excess boost to atmosphere will provide a good compromise of performance and sound to the Evo Enthusiast looking for the appearance, durability and sound of a quality compressor bypass valve, but not willing to compromise on overall drivability. Evo specific bolt-on mounting hardware included. $299.00. Pre-order now (Shipping ETA 3 weeks)

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $289.00

WORKS Hold: The WORKS Hold Battery tie down, like the WORKS Grab shift knob, is a beautiful CNC machined, anodized full billet piece custom laser engraved WORKS logo. The factory stamped steel tie downs have a tendency to corrode over time. The WORKS Hold has your battery firmly secured with style. $59.00 Available Now.

WORKS Holiday Special Price: $49.00

WORKS Street Brake Pads: A custom carbon/Kevlar blend chosen by WORKS for its superior grabbing and holding power both hot and cold without the penalties of rotor wear, squealing, and/or excessive dusting usually associated with high performance brake pads, the WORKS Street Brake Pads are an absolute must when adding power to your Evo. After all, to go fast, you have to be able to slow down. Front and rear available. $249/set for front pads and $99/set for rear pads. Available Now.

WORKS Holiday Special Price: F: $239.00/R: $89.00

How do those cams compare to our stock units and the HKS cams other vendors are selling? I'm wondering about lift, ramp and offset (if any). Thanks in advance :)
