Previously, Evo owners experimenting with venting a blow off valve to atmosphere ran into idle and drivability issues when the MAF equipped Evo evacuated all of its boost pressure to atmosphere. Now, because the WORKS/GFB DVV valve allows the user to vent some of the boost to atmosphere, and recirculate the remainder, these drivability issues can be dramatically minimized or avoided altogether.
