My azenis 245 45 17's vs the new 255 40 17 pilot sportcup size difference is 1 1/2" with the sport cup measuring a full 11" accross...

you can fit 255 on a 8" wide rim , i done it before .To get the best out of it a 8.5 or 9" wide would be a lot better . If not is better staying with a 245 serious
