im still trying to figure out , i know i saw a post on evom .. How to adjust your HID a bit higher then the stock settings. That way went you are set a 0 you are able to have a higher setting ..
Has anyone else tried this ...

yes... there is a gear on each side of the engine bay behind your headlights. you just need a big philips screwdriver to turn it up or down. takes about 10 minutes.

oh wow...maybe i should try this...cuz i dont think the stock setting is pointed high enuff...but then again ...will it blind oncoming traffic if i do this?

it depends how hight you raise them. this is the best way to do it:

point ur headlights towards a wall, and set the lights to the highest level. (4). next, mark on the wall where the light hits.

Then turn your lights down to the middle setting (2), and use the screwdriver to crank it up until the light hights the mark you made on the wall.

Now you know you turned up your lights exactly two settings. :cool:

The best way to do this is with a 10mm socket IMO. That way you won't strip the gears.

Last night I went out and pulled caps off the two 10mm head screws. Marked the garage door. Set the lights in the middle and found that I couldn't crank them up higher! I could set them lower, but not higher.
I think they figuered out that people could set them higher than stock settings.
I assume that these screws are the ones mentioned earlier. They are in a horizontal position.

It looks like I was at the wrong place to raise the lights. There's a good thread on EvoM about this.
