new toys installed

I just got back from Brainstorm from having my HKS carbon TI exhaust and downpipe installed with an APS cold air intake and a XS manual boost controller. The HKS exhaust is nice i love the sound and look alot,it is rubbing a bit on the bumper in the back but its not noticeable...would have been nice if it didnt do that but I'm not hearbroken. The APs intake sounds awesome u can hear the turbo spool and the stock BOV is alot louder now...i love it!
I only gained about 12 hp but the car spools alot faster and pulls alot harder than before...i have more suprises in store after the 24th.

I would think those mods would produce more gains than that... like at least 30+ hp or so. :?

Needs some a/f management and the gains will pop up... Either a reflash or AFC and 20 more horses will show up.

well except the mbc you the same exhact set up as me JOCKER!! nah jp im sure the intake isnt doing much with out tuning but im supprised it only neted 12hp

ya i was shocked at the small #s too, but the car feels a TON better...i love the way it pulls now... i got my Tein high tech springs in the mail today too and my Cusco hard pipe will be in tommorow...so many new toys :)..plus i ran up to RB motoring today...hopefully my Gialla kit will be in tommorow.
By the end of the month I will be in a whole new world of EVO goodness. I am gonna get the APS blow off valve and the piggyback cpu on the 24th. Roshaun said i should be sittin at about 300hp after that.

maybe your car sucks or something lol jp but the exhaust it self should net more than 12hp ive seen dyno tests that show it.(it wasent the hks but the hks cant suck that much)

wow ! just by bolting the AVO exhaust the peak gains were at least 20whp . Im surprise and like everyone else said shock , since you have a bit more and your gains were a lot less .... :?

Fuel management will end the confusion - he's still running the stock fuel map, so the car can't take advantage of the freer breathing and more boost. I think 20hp would be easy to gain from a reflash or AFC.

ya i agreee with Chris, I think its simply a matter of the ECU being completely pissed. also I still have my stock CAT, so I am sure thats not helping anything except save the dolphins.

our stock cat is already free flowing its not very restrictive, except that it tappers to much.
