I agree that this totally sucks! Don't the cops hear the exhaust on Harley's? They are way louder than any car exhaust that I have ever heard, and they never get cited!

From what I've heard, a lot of law enforcement personnel are weekend bikers (with Harley's no less). You do the math.

it sucks cause in the end its all just a way for the state/city to make money...and it gives cops one more reason (like they need any more) to pull u over.....its completely out of hand. The whole C.A.R.B. thing is rediculious too, just another layer of buracracy.

Did anyone notice this genius statement at the end of the page...."Remember - FTBC (failure to be cool) is not a crime!"
I can just picture some 60 year old "hip" lady that works for the "gubment" making the choice to have that high brow statement included in the page.

That reminds me of when I had my Acura Integra GS-R (I apologize in advance for ever owning a Honda) and I got pulled over twice because of my exhaust. The stupid thing was that I had a factory exhaust which was no more than 1.75 inches in diameter. It wasn't too loud but the two stupid cops pulled me over because they thought I changed the exhaust.

If failure to be cool was a crime 99% of the cops would have life sentances.
