9000K Kelvin on JDM EVO HIDz?

i've looked at a lot of pictures of JDM EVO VIIIs and i've noticed
the color temperature is above the 4100K...of the USDM....bah...

they look in the range between 6000k and 9000k...

oreos...

also..has anyone...upgraded? if so, how hard was it? it looks like a pain in the butt cuz u gotta take off the front bumper and all bah...

The stock headlight bulbs are Osram Xenarc, which in BMWs are actually something like 5300K. I dont know what they are in the evo. They might be the same bulb, but I think it's a Matsushita ballast that makes the color difference instead of the HELLA that BMW uses. Not to mention the optics too.
