If you are raising your boost with a boost controller, how do you know when to stop?

its better to have a boost guage so u can see ur boost level, so u dont run too much boost or too lillte

If you have a flash, you run 19 psi, if you want to run more, you need a boost controller. Odds you wont want to run more on pump gas, but if you plan on using race gas, then you will want 22-24 psi....

i run 22 on 91 pump with no detonation or problems at all all day long...

You could probably run 25 psi with no detonation or problems. Your ECU can hear knock and pull timing for any realistic situation. The idea that more boost nessecarily means more power is most definitely not even remotley close to the truth, especially running a turbo on the ragged edge's of its effciency map.
