ughh... . (my condolences)

I'd bet...... closer to $300.00.

Its a guess based on the fact that you were doing double the posted speed limit. Was it in a special zone? ie; Construction Zone etc ?

If you are able to go the traffic school route...DO IT... it won't help you with lowering the fine but will help your point count for insurance.

isn't it 4 point? You can have 5 point for 3 yrs than it returns back to 0. I am not sure...

Should only be 2 points right. I had a speed contest + speeding ticket and only had 2 points. That was several years ago though.

Actually Bevo with 30 over they can get you for reckless driving send your ass to jail and impound your car if they want to.

hahahaha your correct it is only 35 for some reason I though it was 75 in 35 nm

Heres a angle though if he didnt use radar then he will have a hard time knowing exactly what your speed was. Just drop a pencil from your shoulder and ask the cop to tell you how fast it was traveling, he wont know the judge realizes he cant tell and your good to go.

Have to be careful, judges will side with the cop 99%of the time. Do your research, document everything and diagram the intersection. May not win the case but you may have the charges and fines reduced.

This is why I dont speed on residential and highway. Theres a 50/50 chance your license might get suspended. Sorry to hear you got a speeding ticket. Lets just hope you dont get your license suspended. Oh yeah, you should atleast tell the cops that youre in a hurry to get a restroom thats why your speeding. Sometimes it helps. It works for me the last time I got pulled over.

Tlalkk to the Judge or the District Attourney. After multiple visits to court they reduced my ticket to one point and allowed me to go to traffic school. I was still hit with the $900 charge though.

I got caught doing 99 in a 55 a little less than a year ago coming back from Vegas. It was in San Bernadino County. I got 2 points on my record, $316 fine, $20 court fee, and wasn't allowed traffic school. Plus, the judge ripped me a new one.

If you're going to fight it...you can't go to traffic school. But if you do fight it ask the last time he had his radar gun calibrated. If it was near six monthes ago you might be able to get off. If he was trying to guess based on his speedo do the pencil thing that bevo talked about. If he doesn't show up though you automatically win. But if it was CHP they usually show up its the local cops that don't. Plus ask for as many extensions as you can get. The cops sometimes don't get there mail or get it too late or forget. Also call the station and ask what day he takes off and then schedule court for that day, he won't want to go to court on his day off unless he's CHP they get overtime.

yes , you were . But at least for the most part in San Fernando they dont play around . Since they have had so many incidents , that is getting out of hand .....
