Okay, How do you generally clean your air filters for the stock intake? What do you use to clean it? Can anyone help please?

step one: go to napa auto parts buy new one.
step two
take it out and walk it over the the large rubber bucket like thing and toss it in.
Insert new filter

Stock air filter is not reusable, after a period of time it gets dirty and you need to replace it. K&N has reusable stock replacement filter.

whats the best time to change it? i have like 6000 miles on my car?

Air filter? That's just clogging up your intake, throw that thing out, never needs to be replaced and you'll get more horsepower.

I heard that reusable air filters aren't as good as throw away because they don't filter as well. Is this true?
