The only ones I have used on the Evo are the Carbotech Panther XP’s. They are noisy as all hell when cold, but at the track, once warm, they quiet down and stop the car fairly well with little to no fade.

That said I don’t really have any comparisons to give against other track pads on the EVO.

Performance friction "97" compound Exspensive but great grip great wear and work well on the street ... They are located and instock locally... Group buy??? (the guy said he could save a lot if I picked up more than on set..1x pricing=247.00 ouch).

i am running ferodo ds 2500's on the street and ds 3000's for the track. great pads if you dont mind the squealing of race pads. the 3000's have virtually no noticeable fade

Just to updat:

I put the carbotech's back on for tomarrows event. This time I put a good amount of antisqueel stuff. Seems to have worked. The brakes no longer make the god awfull noise they were making but they do still squeel about as much as any other track pad when they are cold.

Which porterfield? R4E? R4S? Do they have to custom make them for the Evo or are they available.

I'm going to try out the Project U pads we just got in stock on feb 21 at PIR. I'll let you know how they work.
