Im sure you can find a simple carbon fiber hood for 400, try calling V.I.S. or stillen....they weight less then stock which is 2 grades heavier, looks great since it matches the spoiler...

Actually some carbon hoods weigh more than stock. Last I checked our stock hood weighed 22 lbs.

ErroR is right. Alot of the C.F. hoods weigh the same as stock if not more. I am more looking for the look!

the carbon fiber hoods the good ones will save u up to like 7-9 ibs i forgot, but its about 500-600 buck.... so the question will come down to r u willing to save 7-9 ibs for 600? thats a exhaust, set of cams, 3 intakes, 2-3 dp, 2-3 cat delete, 2 sets of lower arm bar, half sets of coilovers, almost a intake manifold, a header, almost a intercooler...... i think with 600 bucks you will gain more from hp gain products than saving 7-9 ibs, unless you are going for showish type. =0)

carbon fiber trunk saves way more than hood. We already have a light aluminum hood.

very ture leaveit i think the hood trunk saves over 12 or 13 ibs, but then if u take ur seats out, front and back you will save like 30-40 ibs =0)
