Just got this SSQV from BlueEvo, this will be a ssqv from a Elcipes set up, after we Installed it with the recirculate kit, it feels fine for a while until maybe my car is fully warmed up, and when i get to a complete stop the car was about to stall, anybody else have experience with this ssqv got the similar problem before? is it the adjustment that is having problem? will this damage my turbo/or if the valve didn't release enough air? or should i vent it or leave it recirculate? because if i vent it my car will probably stall and die? and I don't have much pssh sound..... sounds even worst then stock lolz, but it holds the Boost pretty good vs the Stock.

u make sure u adjust it right. if it stalls it probably because the valve is too tight. adjust the valve to a softer setting. i had that problem with my greddy bov but i fixed it by just adjusting it right

I have the HKS SSQV BOV VTA and mine drops idle, but doesn't stall. I just learned to live with, I love the BOV. I will probably change it, just to try a different one.

SO ANSWER MY QUESTION.

WHAT BOV ARE YOU RUNNING?

By the way, doesn't matter how loud yours is, but how good it can hold boost and how much!!!

its the TurboXS RFL VTA BOV..................can it get any easier to READ!

ALSO IT HOLDS 25 PSI, which my car is not pushing that mush anyways!

and i got it for a good price of 180 bucks from TurboXS, easy to install and its smooth, and i dont leak boost, i dont stall, i actually feel a better push when shifting gears and shit

lol, your a funny person, but i dont know where you getting at? I prolly do have one of the loudest and awesome quality BOV, but i still dont get what your trying to make a point about? I just said that HKS makes bad BOVs, and its true :)

it is true. you are right.

Why does HKS make a bad BOV?

Please tell me why, enilighten me please!

first if all, its the adjustment which is not so great, the BOv was also tested by this one race shop which i cant say out loud and said that the HKS leaks boost, a lot of people had problems with VTA like my BOv where it stalls and shit, but they just dont know how to adjust it just right, prices are totally different, HKS is a great company, but price is too much, the quality sucks, adjusting it is not perfect always....and some actualy leak boost, so your more likely to loose power but you wont even feel the amount of power you loose so why worry?

i am not worrying!!!!

Glad to see our young pups have EVO's.

haha yeah im young mann, i had my evo since 17, now im 18, my upgrades.....well i have that bov and my carbon fiber splitter, and i do my own labor on my car, i have learned to take out my parts easily with tools, umm i also found out my dad ordered me a new intercooler from somewhere i dont know and it weights 20 lbs less then stock, (this was like 5 months ago) umm, i got different fog lights, 100 watt arctic white, umm, im getting a stage kit hopefully soon, if not im getting an exhaust from RS'R, or APS intake...

lol...im still trying to find out, but i have the stock intercooler at my dads auto body shop, fucking HEAVY, i tried holding it in one hand i did but it was heavy, i picked my new intercooler (same size) and its way lighter, i scaled it to 23 lbs

Deos the TURBO XS RFL when VTA sound like a chirp (greddy type S) or a ninja sword (HKS SSQV) or a whoosh like an open element intake?
Just curious cuz i have heard the hks and greddy one VTA already, but i havent heard the RFL.
