augi1, what we meant is that this system will pass smog sniffer test. individual's experience w/ local law enforcement may vary. ;)

A friend of mine just got this from Cal over at Gruppe-S (well he got on his sisters Evo). He loved it so much, that he is going to sell him RMR on his Evo for this Helix.

How is the sound on this, Cal? Obviousy it is louder than stock, but is it as loud as your HKS exhaust was or about the same?

does it tapper down to 2.5 to the cat ?? and do you guys plan on selling a 3' highflow cat to go with the helix DP and exhaust ??
i have a 3' all the way turbo back , so i would be interested in a 3' all the way design turbo back ...

Really...hmmm... I am on a hunt for a catback exhaust tht meets 95 db WOT and 50 carb legal. The one I know is B&B and RMR, and I am leaning torwards RMR. I want to hear helix and if it meet the 95db standards I'll buy.

I think the loudness is about the same as the HKS if not just a tad bit louder under WOT. Altho I love my HKS exhaust, but I decide to leave the 3" Helix exhaust on for the time being.

The Helix exhaust does not tapper down like the HKS does. It is full 3" all the way. We plan on selling a 3" hi-flow cat when the shipment arrives. It will go along with the helix dp and exhaust as a combo. Please stay tuned with us.
