I wrestled at one point and the first time I saw driving shoes I honestly thought they were wrestling shoes. If you are on a budget I would give them a try. They are light and very durable. Plus, if racing shoes are anything like wrestling or track shoes you want to get a set that fits like a glove! Dont just go for brand, different brands have diff. cuts usually.

All puma racecats are being discontinued so they are on sale almost everywhere right now. I talked to a sparco rep and he said that puma won't be making shoes for sparco anymore. Get them while they're hot

go to the third street promenade in santa monica, the puma store there has literally a billion different styles and colors!! They also have the full-on FIA approved, fire proof ones (forget the name, but those are the ones I bought)

Even if the people don't know what your'e talking about, you'll be able to spot them on the wall immediately! They have a HUGE section of racing shoes on the wall there. The one's I got onl came in Blue/hightop when I bought them. They have a kind of suede feel to them.

what's funny is that driving shoes are now becoming popular among fashionistas who wear them just to look cool. puma will be making driving shoes for a long time, have no fear...
