where ever you go, it's going to be too expensive... rumor is that 91 might hit $3/gallon by summer time.

They said that last year and it didnt happen. I only put 76 in the evo cause ive read things saying that not all gas is the same. The bigger companies like chevron, 76, shell, all have higher grade gas with 76 supposedly having the best gas.

yeah, but isn't it all relative...? if regular 91 increases to $3/gallon, then wont 100 octane also increase the same margin?

nope, 100 octane isn't sold in the volumes that the regualr gas is sold. So far the price veriations have had no effect on it.

91 was $1.80/g, 100 was $4.49/g
91 is $2.50+g, 100 is $4.49/g

Of course, out here, 93 octane is $1.80/gal. Before you kill me, keep in mind that I have to have SOME redeeming factor in staying out here!!

I called Rich (Ricardon) once while I was filling up with Sunoco 94 for $1.49/gal. Ha ha!!!

76 gas has given me nothing but problems. Since I stopped using their gas I have not been getting the CEL going off every 2 weeks or so.

I only pump chevron for the most parts , car runs great !!!
some 76 seem like they water down there gas , i use to pump 76 in a different car with very high compression , at least 12.8CR
an with 76 it didnt run as smooth as with chevron , after trying out different 76 station . chevron was the way for me , but if we do hit high prices (over 3.00g) then im going for 100 octane , might as well....
