I was there at the track, the Evo driver is one of us (on the board), but I'll let him tell you his name. The SVT Focus is a Vortech supercharged model with suspension mods. And yup, all it means is that the Focus driver is maybe a better driver. I've driven both and while both are excellent cars, it still boils down to driver.

I sure both of them are good drivers, but a wet track and the desire to beat the other car probably pushed them beyond the grip of the wet surface.

Actually, said driver was new to the EVO and new to the track, but I'm sure he's MUCH better now.

I sure hope so... wet track or not, it is an embaressment to have a ford all over you. Please someone with some skills go and show these people what the evo can realy do!
