Yes. If parts you are getting allow you to use the stock cat then you should be fine.

BTW what's the size if the parts you are getting?

For those of you who are not sure how to add pics to your posts, here are some instructions.

1 Add the pics in your gallery.
2 Open pic in the gallery.
3 Right click on the image and select Properties.
4 There is a line called address that will look like this:
Address: http://www.socalevo.net/gallery/albums/album67/example.jpg
5 Copy the address.
6 Go to the post that you want to insert the picture into.
7 Paste the address into the post.
8 Highlite the address and click on the Img button at the top of the screen.
9 Preview the post to make sure you included the picture you wanted and not something else.

instead of adding the pic to a post , you go to your profile and follow the directions . post the link under your signature option.

hks DP is ok , but if you add other things like cams and want more power out of your set up. Then IMO 3" DP would be the way to go.

to each his own but my take is that it depends what you are looking for out of the car. If you are running the stock turbo the 70mm is the better way to go because the turbo will spool much faster and you will build more torque even on 264 cams than you would with a 3" DP. Also to get the full effect of the 3" pipe you need to get a 3" cat delet or Hi flow cat AND a 3" O2 housing because other wise there is a large lip in the pipe where it conects to the stock smaller O2 housing which cauuses in tube turbulence and disrupts even exhaust flow.

Some one will tell you that 70mm or 2.65-2.75 dp will choke off you turbo they are entitled to their opinions but there are people building well north of 500 crank HP on those pipes and their torque curves come in much sooner than those with 3 inch pipes.

just take a look at the Buschur stage IV , complete 3" system of course. Same reason why i have a highflow 3" cat.
Even WORKS who carries 70mm DP use a different DP with their turbo kit upgrade which is 3" DP . An their making near 360whp i can only imagine 400whp+ . The only way to see results is comparing a 3"DP with a 2.65-2.75 on the same car. With different stages in mods, the get an accurate gains. Any one can run 2.75 with 500+ but what gains can be seen from running a 3" will be determine by the dyno. since other things come into play when gaining HP. not just DP , tuning as well.

I agree- I think its what you want forsure with a new turbo go 3" and for max HP 3' with O2 housing but for fastest spool and most useable power I think he'd be better with 70mm

Reference "PK@works" in other thread- paraphrasing here:

70mm is ideal for stock turbo/O2 housing.
