i dont know, maybe i was tired since it was after work, but for all the critical acclaim it received (best screenplay???), it really didn't strike me as that great a movie. it developed incredibly slow, and at the end, i was left there wondering what exactly happened during the whole thing...
i dont know, was it just me?

If you've never travelled outside the country by yourself to a place where they don't speak your language, it probably got lost in your transalation.

I just saw it like two days ago and I don't know. It was like a dark Wes Anderson movie only without the Wilson brothers and it never really went anywhere.

you know, i've never been to a country that didn't have engrish as it's language, BUT irregardless, the movie just didn't go anywhere. i could see how someone who has might say to themselve's "i can relate" but that doesn't mean it's necesarily a good movie.

i think sophia pulled out her COPOLLA card for this one.

on a side note, movie worth renting: the big lebowski, just saw it recently.
