Limited Slip Differential Design

Hi guys I need help on a design for a limited slip differential (LSD). I need to improve a design on a current lsd. I need it for a design project on my mechanical engineering class. If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. It doesn't have to be a dramitic improvement just an improvement. Thanks

The evo 5 difs weakest link is the bolts holding it together...if you can figure out a way to manufacture without this problem..ie weld together after assembly etc would that fit the bill?

What I was thinking about is a device that could replace the clutches on a LSD with some other mechanical part. Thats just one idea. Or deriving a different gear ratio on a locking differential.
