yup tein s-tech. love em :) anyhow if u have lots of $$$ that u wanna spend on suspension (which is worth it i think...) then go for Mueller's JIC. there's this thread named Handling mods, lots of people recommending getting the JIC and get em tune by John Mueller from RRE :)

just my .2

i would not buy Tein s-springs, lowering your car is not needed, save up and get a real set of suspension from JIC, then go to RRE and tune em? thats the best overall

I agree with billy. I love lowered cars, looks alot aggressive and ur turning experience will improve =].

While suspension its great not awesome but ehh u pay what u get for. I still rock it on the track, canyons, or drag and my evo still crazy.

If you want springs only, get the Espelir SAD springs. The ride stays comfertable, but the car is more firm in the corners. The Espelir springs lower the car enough to give it a more aggressive stance without the wheel gap, but they do not get rediculously low. They actually bump the spring rate more than any other spring out there too.

I just had my EVO out at buttonwillow raceway the other day and the car handled like a dream. I was shocked at how well it took the track with just a set of springs and a good alignment. You will not be disapointed with these springs.

You can get them at www.worldoneperformance.com

Garret is great there and the customer service is second to none.

Not sure about everyone else but Brian(Ad-lib) has his car dropped on teins not sure which kind and he says it bottoms out all the time so you may want to just rock coilovers.

Not all springs are equal, and they are not all made by tein.

i purchased the Espilir springs when i got my Volk LE28N's, very aggressive look, it is a bit more harsh ride though, but the look is tight.... about a 2 inch gap in front and none in the back now... i only got the springs when i got the rims, but i will get the coilovers in the future. the ride should be less harsh with even better handling once dialed in.

Ya I am definatly regrettin gettin just springs
in retrospect i would have saved up and rocked coilovers from RRE.
Also Nitto 555s suck, you get what you pay for i guess.
Luckily i saved my stock wheels and tires :)

I got the Tein H-techs which supposedly drop the car less than the S techs and i rub under heavy cornering or high rebound situations like on exit ramps etc. its dangerous as hell i am sure. Just food for thought. I am also running 18.8.5" wheels with 245/40/18s

Eibach has springs that may be what you're looking for as well.

you will be amaze at what stock suspension and a good driver will do , but once you see what the JIC mueller set up can do , is over and is a must .. Specially if you track your car ofcourse .......

I seen an EVO with the Eibach pro kit and it looked like he only dropped the rear for some reason.

Hehehe, Mackey, The Falken Azenis look like they have a huge sidewall no? Actually they are the same AR as the stock yokos, but because they are straight and aren't stretched they look taller. I guess some of you know that I'm getting the new Espelir springs put on on Monday morning, so I'll make sure I let everyone know how they feel.
