What are the purpose of the MBC/EBC? I know they have something to do with boost and that MBC/EBC somehow manages them...so how do they work and what's this boost stuff?
Thanks in advance :D

boost is the power from the turbo, how much psi is being pushed, boost controllers let you raise the boost therefor raising power

you stock ecu is programmed to only allow a certain amount of boost to go into your motor. an ebc or mbc allows u to bypass that and have user controlled boost. and boost is air. we measure boost in psi. on the evo's stock we are running 19psi......or 19 pounds of compressed air. when u are boosting, you are adding to atmospheric pressure. which i think is like 14.7 psi at all times. so when u are boosting say 10psi, you have 24.7 psi of air in your motor. and boost is created by using a turbo charger

you can also use them to set it at one psi level and hold that instead of stock tapering.
