They will check the vin#

its a big risk taking a different car to CHP . Something so simple , you guys should just remove it . take it for inspection , an if you think is worth it put it back on... :?

They will use a scanner for your Vin#.

What kind of intake are you running, it's not like it's going to create any problems let alone f!@$%* smog. And this is the same situation as the exhaust problems, you pull over any one of the thousand civics let alone the other ricers, more than half would intakes. Prolly some really anoying exhaust to go along with it. With I could help you out man, but mines black.
