so my wrx is in the shop...

so i was driving my grandma's buick century around for a couple days. oh man, that car really sux!!! and now i have a rental... and it turns out to be a mitsu galant, 2004. a little better, but geeze, it sux too.

and who knows when my wrx will be back... they have to replace cylinder 1 or something. what a load of crap. luckily it's under warranty. the thing that gets me is that now with the wrx in the shop, my chances of getting an evo are slim to none now!!!

i waited and waited and it just got worse, so i went in at the worse possible time financial, as it turns out the dealership had to lower its price 3000 dollars to get the bank to finance me and the process took about three months, i drove the car for three months free. Go out and do it, things work out best when plans are laid worst.

oh car is now done... turns out the service manager i spoke with originally had no idea what she was talking about. all it needed was an idle control valve for cylinder 1.

so, back on the hunt.

you wont believe it, i came within shaking the fleet managers hand for a silver one without sunroof, but with wing. it was at a PHENOMONAL price. had to back out last second. hoping that the deal will still be around in a week or so. actually the deal i'm not too worried about, it's more like the car... stock on the '03's is running thin...

oh, and mike, when you get back, me you and arnie should get together.

Winter wonderland my ass. :P Snow was fine/fun up until the beginning of Feb. Now it's 2 months later, in April, and still snowing/cold. I can't wait to come back to L.A. now. :wink:
