View Full Version : Cusco Front sway bar

i got all my cusco stuff today!! installed the lower arm bars v1 and v2, but the front sway bar anyone know if it comes with a rubber holder?

this thing.... it comes for the rear but not the front... isn't it going to rattle like crazy if theres no holder?

okay ahahha i guess the stock one comes with that stuff...

right now i got the stock front sway bar lose already, but i can't take it off i been trying everything, but it just wont. what else do i have to have take off???

can anyone install front sway bars? shops or person? how much? i think it will be way too much time to install it, probably not worth it if i dont have teh proper help

just go to rre and have mueller setup your suspension- they do sways if you don't have the dinero yet for the coilovers...

Mueller told me not to do front sway because you just lift tires like mad.

what do u mean by lifting the tires? like ur front is goign to raise a little bit?

He said on hard cornering you would lift the inside tire

The service manual states that the crossmember does need to drop down to remove the bar. I haven't gotten that deep into mine yet to know whether or not there's an easier solution.

"You have to drop the front cradle out to change the front sway bar. So you have to remove the power steering lines that run to the pump and reseovoir on the passenger side of the engine bay. Lock the steering wheel in place and mark the shaft with chalk or something where it will disconnect so that when you put it back in it is lined up. If you have the service manual it has great pics of everything that needs to come out. Here is a pic while it was off of the car and the new sway bar installed."
