Hard to believe 10 years has passed since the death of the most influential musicians of the 90's, the John Lennon of the 90's.
It was 10 years ago, that he jabbed heroin in his arm and "took a shotgun and disconnected his brain." :(
After that, he had left such a long-lasting legacy which made him perhaps the most influential musician in the rock music scene for years to come. The whole alternative scene wouldn't have existed if it weren't for that one song "Smells like Teen Spirit".
Sure Pearl Jam also contributed to the success of grunge music, but it still pales in comparison to what Nirvana has accomplished.
Ushered in a new era of music which still has it's effects even to this day.
There are 5 songs by them which I constantly listen to this day:
Sliver, Rape Me, Heart-Shaped Box, Lithium, and of course, Smells Like Teen Spirit
R.I.P. Kurt Cobain
Some respect should be given to this magnificent musician here.
