Whats the difference between the two?? 1 just is .5mm thicker... does that actually make any difference and where do they go in the car?? (yes yes newbie question  ) And can you just get these without spark plugs or better to have these with new plugs??

You answered your own question regarding the difference of the two. Generally, a thicker wire provides less resistance. The two wires are located beneath the plastic piece that sits atop your valve cover. Remove the 10mm bolts and they'll be staring at you.
