I hear that since Sunoco is the nascar sponsor there will be no more 100 octane for us. Is there any truth to this? Man if so that will suck big time cause VP is fucking $8 a gallon errrrrrrrrrr

anybody got the answer to this

theres different prices at different locations , since also VP sells leaded at 5.75 c-12 . so i can imagine 100 being around the same price . Im going to check with the shop i use to buy c-12 from to see if the carry 100 unleaded . Since they carry nothing but VP ..
Sunoco is expensive , they have 110 thats around 90 for 5 galones containers ( give and take a few )
Its been posted a while , that 76 is no longer the official fuel of nascar , but some gas station still sell it at the pump

From what I've been told by a few 76'ers.... those still selling 100, are just selling the leftovers.... and there won't be anymore coming.

hmmmm...I never heard this. That would suck for sure! There is a place down by HB mitsu that sells 103 at the pump for less than 76 sells 100, though I wouldn't drive all the way down there to get it only to burn half of it coming back to LA hehe.

The guy at my 76 (that sells 100 octane unleaded pump gas) says that it's a BS rumor...

He says they will continue to sell 100.... :D

Well, I was at the 76 on Pico/Barrington in Santa Monica last night, and there was a sign over the pump: "We are out of race gas, sorry" It could be temporary, but I've never seen that before in over a year!

i saw it a couple of months back , but after that i stop again and was able to pump some 100 octane .. is either there brining smaller amounts or there getting rid off it :? which i hope that they dont ...

I usually fill 100 octane from a 76 station up in Calabasas (only $4.29/ gallon). Now, they don't offer it anymore, and I have to get mine at 76 on San Vincente ($5.39/ gallon). The Enzo was there, and his gas bill must be pretty high... lol

I got mine in Calabasas... 4.29/gallon was almost a bargain considering the current gas prices here...

Where is San Vincente?

Ya calabasas and now pico and barrington stopped. Playa vista 76 my LMU sells it still but I think its only in canisters because the guy would only sell it to me during business hours.

It's the car wash place that has the gas pumps. I'm not sure what cross street it is, but it is on Beach just west of HB Mitsu, before whatever street you make the right on to go to RMR. I think they were selling VP 103.

there are two. one at warner and beach (nearest HB mitsu, before RMR w/c is down the road) and another one at beach and garfield (3 stoplights down from where RMR is at).

i will have to investigate and check

The ALLIANCE gas station on De Soto & Vanowen sells 101 octane unleaded.... about 4.59/gallon. It's the pump in the back corner.

Found that out earlier today, and it made my day.

Found that out earlier today, and it made my day.its actually 103 octane...i used to fill up there all the time when i lived in simi valley. but the downside is that there aren't many alliance gas stations around, and i've only found 2 that sell 103 octane unleaded...both in the valley. so if you're ever up this way...
