After four weeks, just got the car back on the road with the quantum intake manifold, avo exhaust(borla was just too loud!) and the new turbo... have to finish plumbing the fuel system before it gets tuned. A few observations: you can clearly hear the turbo start to spool at 2500! nice whiiiiiiishhh sound everytime you even blip the thottle. Between that and the greddy bov, it symphony of turbo sounds. This thing seems to spin in a light breeze. full boost is 3500.

This thing is not a "gt40" (I really wish i still could have used the avo manifold though- cast and a really clean design)

It is an agp custom gt setup for track, not drag. It is a gt series bb though.

http://www.agpturbo.com/

Peak power isn't the point- with supporting mods, full spool by mid to high 3k range to 8200 and around 500 hp at the wheels is the goal. Hoping for a crazy power band of 3500 to 8000 with this turbo. On the track or the real world it should be a monster.

Definitely not a gt35 dyno queen. Just driving off from a stoplight you can hear it wake up and start to spool at around 2500. Figure 3500-3800 full boost

Gt40 actually has a bigger wheel but this one has a much bigger cold housing and spools in a light breeze.

Manifold is sfp - cheap and effective and it is 8 gauge regular steel- not stainless so it will probably last a while. I would like to get a nice cast or a 321 tube version- next round. tial wastegate is a bit obvious when you pop the hood but he can build an internal gated verson that would be more discreet and the problems that go with internal.

I will post some numbers after the fuel system and tune- work in progress!

Yeah but I hope I'm not as grumpy as he is when I grow up! WA BAM!! Mark, I need to take my header down to those guys and have them replicate it in 321!!! Can you say unbreakable!! Then wrap it...mmmmmm the goodness!

i wonder if you could of custom made the set up that you have now , running with the cast manifold Buschur offers !!
I know at least to me cast is a must , i hope you are able to accomplish the goal that you have set for the car ...

That manifold is not going to crack Goku...it's made of regular steel. Is it 1010 Mark? We should just say F it and get both our manifolds replicated in 321 and forget about it ever cracking!!!
