I usually get my tires changed at my local Just Tires. I don't know how much for 1 tire, but it cost less than $40 to get all four tires balanced and mounted.

The most important thing about mounting tires is go to a tire shop that you had good experince with, that you know will take good care of your rims when mounting/dismounting the tires.

I've got a couple of places that I work with that will do it for about $5-$8/tire

you wouldn't happen to be the White evo that drives by the westlake golf course/county line shopping center very frequently? I manage the indie movie theatre on lakeview cyn. so i see the same white evo pass by almost daily.

I pay about $10 each at tire man in thousand oaks... seems like a lot..

they'll do it for like $25 if you bring the tires/wheels not on a car. almost seems worth it to leave the car on jackstands at home. heh.

Oh sorry bro!! losing it here hehe. Firestone on Lincoln just north of pico right before the 10fwy hooks it up for $8 per. I'll have to get back to you with the other to make sure the "hookup" is ok to advertise hehehe.

I've been known to do that. :-) ...well its better than starting a new thread..so i called a local shop and they said 12 bucks a tire just to seperate tires from wheels that are already off my car...is this about right? Seems pricey.

Thanks Terenus, so I guess I won't get away with paying less than 40 bucks eh? I figured it would be much cheaper since the wheels/tires are off my car already.
